Our volunteer team recruits, screens and trains volunteer to meet the needs and goals of Indigenous communities. Our Project Officers work with communities to identify the communities’ development goals and the types of skills and experiences that they will require in a volunteer. From this, our volunteer team identifies skill shortages among available volunteers and can prioritise these skills in our recruitment efforts. The skills that communities require change regularly.

Below is the list of skills that we are currently seeking.

Tradespeople
Governance
Community workers
Web Designers

If you have any of these skills, please read the following instructions to learn how to apply and register with ICV. If your skills are not on the list above, you can still apply. Your skills may be demanded by communities in the future. But, at the moment we are prioritising the above skills and it may take us longer to get back to you and longer to screen your application. We can be contacted on 1800 819 542 or emailed at volunteer@icv.com.au.
