So Alawa Aboriginal Corporation, which provides a range of services to the community, asked ICV volunteer Kenneth to work with local men on vehicle and engine maintenance skills. Their on-the-job learning involved servicing cars and repairing mowers and other machinery. Locals are delighted to have learned new skills, extended the life of their vehicles and reduced the cost of motoring in this remote community.
